Yes. It is designed as an integral part of the SigenStor energy storage platform and works with compatible SigenStor battery modules.
The main differences are rated inverter output, supported solar input and the number of MPPTs. Higher-capacity models support larger solar arrays and, from 8kW upward, additional MPPTs for more complex roof layouts.
The 12kW model supports up to 24kW of PV input. The 10kW model supports up to 20kW, the 8kW up to 16kW, the 6kW up to 12kW and the 5kW up to 10kW.
MPPTs allow groups of solar panels to be managed independently. More MPPTs can be useful on homes with panels installed across different roof orientations or sections with different sunlight conditions.
Yes, when the overall system is configured with compatible SigenStor batteries and the required Sigen Gateway equipment. Backup capability depends on the complete system design.
